This is a brand-new baby photo album with a brown velvet back and an off-white applique on the front featuring a smiling giraffe, “Baby’s Photos” embroidered in blue on top of it, and tiny flowers embroidered on all four corners of the insert. The album holds 24 photos in easy to use and completely acid-free (i.e. photo-safe) 3-ply Polypropylen pockets. Each album comes in a fancy box imprinted with teddy bear images and clear cover and a brown ribbon with a bow tied around the box. Needless to say, it’s an amazing gift!

   My first impression upon opening this: pretty cute, but cheap. It reminded me of something you’d spot at the Family Dollar for $3. Then I opened it and the clump of photo pages fell out onto my lap. They’d been glued in, but the glue didn’t hold. This would NOT make a good gift, unless you wanted the recipient to think you’re really cheap, or maybe if you were filling it with photos and giving it away to Grandma for a brag-book. On the plus side I only payed $4.95 for it (this should’ve been a big warning to me), so I don’t feel that gipped, but I wish I’d spent more and had something of higher quality, since this was going to hold my baby’s first pictures.
